1. Vessel (Leo George Faulkner)

Before leading Sleep Token, Leo Faulkner, also known as Vessel, was part of the ambient duo Blacklit Canopy alongside Gemma Matthews. This project allowed Faulkner to explore and develop his atmospheric and emotive musical style. Vessel also embarked on a solo project named Dusk, where he delved deeper into his musical and lyrical capabilities. This project set the foundation for his later work with Sleep Token.

2. II (Adam Pedder)

Adam Pedder, the drummer known as II, was previously a member of several notable metal bands. His technical drumming skills and precision were critical to the bands he played with, including Belial, As Winter Burns White, and Morbid Remains. Pedder’s diverse drumming experience, which blends elements of metal, R&B, and gospel, adds a distinctive flair to Sleep Token’s music. His meticulous crafting of drum parts to complement the vocals and other instruments is evident in songs like “The Summoning” which feature complex, interactive drum parts.

3. III (Dave Ball)

Dave Ball, known as III, is the bassist for Sleep Token. Although he has remained somewhat in the background compared to other members, his contributions are vital to the band’s sound. Ball’s involvement in the music scene extends beyond Sleep Token, as he has been seen touring with the band Architects. His solid bass lines provide a foundational layer to Sleep Token’s music, enhancing its depth and resonance.

4. IV (Rhys Griffiths)

Rhys Griffiths, known as IV, is the guitarist and vocalist for Sleep Token. Before joining the band, Griffiths was a member of the metalcore band Continents.
